Schedule and Location

Hapkido throw

This information is kept current.

Class Information:

I currently offer two separate classes:

1. Hapkido:

Mondays, 7 pm to 8:30 pm
Saturdays, 6 pm to 7:30 pm

You will learn effective techniques of self-defense, including grab defenses, punch and kick defenses, strikes, throws, joint locks, pins, chokes, and weapons techniques (primarily knife and stick).

Cost: $60 per month.

Location:

Bushidokan Martial Arts
3185 Willow Avenue
Clovis, CA 93612

NE corner of Willow and Ashlan, in the small shopping center with the pizza & subs place.

2. Pekiti Tirsia Kali:

Thursdays, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Location: Kaiser Park, 425 E. Alluvial, Fresno CA 93720

This class teaches Filipino blade fighting techniques, including knife, machete and short sword.

Cost: $30 per month (or $60 if you wish to attend the Hapkido classes as well).

Who Can Join?

Classes are open to anyone ages 12 and up (other classes at Bushidokan are available to younger children). Women are welcome and encouraged to join. Newcomers are welcome, regardless of experience, and age is not a bar. You do not need any prior martial arts experience, or any particular level of physical fitness.

Uniform:

For the Kali class there is no uniform. For Hapkido we wear standard white martial arts uniforms (dobok or gi). To start with you can wear any comfortable athletic wear.

How to Join:

If you are interested, come on by, call me or contact me through the contact form. This is the only Hapkido class in Fresno and in my opinion it’s one of the best martial arts classes around.

and go to work on saturday at 12 ..

    thanks.

    • Hi Paul. I personally do not have a Hapkido class on Saturday morning. My Hapkido class on Saturday is currently at 5pm, but obviously that doesn’t help you since you’re at work. However the dojo does have a Kokodo Jujitsu class Saturday mornings at 10. It’s a mixed kids and adults class and is taught by Sensei Dave.
