Hapkido Classes in Fresno, California

Hapkido!

Hello everyone. I have restarted the Hapkido classes here in Fresno, California. I now have the use of an indoor training space with mats.

See the Schedule and Location page for the address, and class times.

I’m serious about teaching. I’ve trained in several arts and I continue to study and practice daily. I believe I’ve accumulated much hard-won martial wisdom. The only requirement I have in a student is that you be serious as well. Learning a martial art takes dedication. It’s a long-term venture.

If you are interested in attending, please contact me or just drop by the class.

  1. Hello!

My name is Kathy and I’m currently in high school. I’m really happy that these lessons are free and conveniently close to my home (Olive and Belmont). I do not know when this ‘flier’ was documented onto the internet, but I am genuinely interested and excited. I have read the other pages and it seems I will not have any problem with the uniform or anything (as it’s just a t-shirt and some shorts), but I do have questions about glasses, as I do wear them. However if this is not a problem I will like to know when I can start if this is not out-of-date.

I am a little scared however because I have never been thrown down, but I can live with that and survive, so I will be fine.

    Thank you!

Hello, my name is Wiphada and im interested in the free Hapkido classes in Fresno. Although im concerned about when can i start the class.

  3. Sorry for posting twice. But I seem to have forgotten what time I would be more interested in. Tuesdays are fine and after 4pm or 5pm would be much more convenient for me as a high school student. Thank you very much. I have extended this to some interested friends as well. Hopefully, we’ll show some bright, encouraging promise as dedicated students.

    • Hi Kathy, thanks for your message. The current class times are Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:30pm to 5pm. There’s no class today (June 28) because I’m in Vancouver for a martial arts seminar, but I’ll be back tomorrow and classes will resume next week. I understand that these times might be a problem for you since you’re a student, but maybe you can start during summer, and if you are still interested come fall, we can make some adjustments for you.

Don’t worry about falls and throws. We will start you off with the basics. There won’t be anything you cannot handle.

      Wael

  4. Thanks for your quick reply. But I have a question as to the address of the place I will be going to. It’s on Fulton, between Olive and Belmont, but where specifically? Just street wise and land marks to look for will be fine as well.
